Fix garage door sensor — Thornton, CO

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When you are looking at garage door repair costs, several variables shape the final bill. The complexity of the mechanical issue is the biggest factor, as replacing a single torsion spring is a very different task than realigning a bent track or swapping out a damaged panel. The type of materials used for your door, the brand of your opener system, and the specific labor required all play a role in the total. We aim to keep things straightforward so you know exactly what is happening with your system.

About this service

Safety sensors are the small devices located near the floor that prevent the door from closing on objects. If your door reverses suddenly or the lights on the opener are flashing, the sensors are likely misaligned or faulty. Sometimes it is just a matter of cleaning the lenses or adjusting the brackets, but damaged wiring may require a deeper fix. Costs vary based on the labor involved. We provide exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
