Garage door sensor alignment — St. Paul, MN

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When you are looking at garage door repair costs, several variables shape the final bill. The complexity of the mechanical issue is the biggest factor, as replacing a single torsion spring is a very different task than realigning a bent track or swapping out a damaged panel. The type of materials used for your door, the brand of your opener system, and the specific labor required all play a role in the total. We aim to keep things straightforward so you know exactly what is happening with your system.

About this service

Your garage door sensors are the small safety eyes located near the floor on either side of the track. If they are misaligned, the door will not close because it thinks something is in the way. Usually, you will see a blinking light on the sensor unit. We help realign them so they face each other perfectly, restoring your door's safety features.
